These sturdy plastic mats can be used many times over or left as a display decorative. Used to promote the learning of weaving, the mats have large grids that allow for little hands to easily manipulate strips of fabric in and out to form a woven surface. While the kit comes with plenty of felt strips the artist can use additional mediums to create unique designs. Wool, string, fabric, plant material and even paper or cardboard can be woven into exciting patterns using the plastic mat as a weaving platform.
